What is Every school, Every Student?
The Every School Every Student (ESES) reform provides learning support for in excess of 90 000 students in NSW identified as having a disability, learning difficulty or behavioural issues. It is funded through National Partnerships and has provided approximately 47 million dollars in funding to NSW schools. ESES is directly linked to DDA and disability standards for education which advocates that all students, irrespective of disability, are entitled to access and be engaged in education on an equal basis. This includes making necessary adjustments to learning materials and learning environments. Under ESES and through National Partnerships SSPs are seen as centres of expertise and have been provided with funding to develop programs and materials that can be used to support all students with a disability access equitable educational experiences in all educational settings in NSW.
